How would you describe your current quality of life?
What is it that produces your quality of life? I would imagine that you would consider your health, your relationships, your vocation, your service, your contentment, your financials, your spirituality, and your overall enjoyment of day-to-day living.
What habits are you practicing that produce your quality of life?
This question can be uncomfortable, but it may clarify some steps to improving your quality of life. You can begin with three basics … eat, sleep, move. Your body functions best with real food, a good night’s sleep, and regular physical activity. Are you a gracious, kind and forgiving person? Do you intentionally use your daily work to serve others and make a difference? Do you have a habit of gratitude and appreciation for all the blessings you experience? Are you disciplined and reasonable with your money management? Most importantly, do you actively seek to worship and please your Creator?
What changes could you make to improve your quality of life?
Perhaps from this short article you will be prompted to begin a new habit. Or maybe you will choose to make this the moment to restart a practice that has supported your quality of life in the past. Most people I have coached and counseled have a sense of what they could do to improve their quality of life. Some of those people choose to take action. How about you?
Would you drop me a note and let me know what helpful change you made today?
It would be an encouragement to both of us! mailto:davebeam@mentordavebeam.com
