CCC means stating facts clearly, directly, and succinctly. It always critically questions any reasoning or logic that seems inconsistent or flawed.  Practicing CCC calls for accountability and transparency in actions. It rejects blame-shifting, excuses, and denial.

Above all, CCC prioritizes listening to understand others before seeking to be understood.  It demonstrates kind confrontation—attacking problems while being kind to people.  It stays focused on solutions and possibilities, not problems or fault-finding and therefore sets the stage for collaborative problem solving and getting things done.
